Thread: How much HDD space do you have total?

Where to begin..
I have 3 Externals. 320GB, 750GB, and a 3TB dual-bay.
Then I have an internal 1TB
So around 5TB for my main computer.
I have two laptops which sum up to at least 200gigs but I hardly use em.
Then I have a 32gig flashdrive.
Several SD cards which add up to over 10gigs :001_tongue:

I don't know if this counts but I have at least 700gb of online space..



So I guess if you added all the space available to me.
It wouldn't be far from 6TB..

Jenna, to answer your question, YES. HD material mostly, shows, and all that crap.
It's really not as much as it looks like.
Keep this in mind, a full-sized blu-ray movie is around 30GB.
So with 5 terabytes you could only have around 167 movies.

1TB Seagate FreeAgent External HDD+ 750GB Maxtor SATA + 2x250 Seagate IDE + 320GB Seagate SATA+ 160GB on my laptop = 2.73TB in all..

In my case I very rarely delete anything that I download so I am constantly running out of disk space. I might be adding another 1TB very soon.

Yes, you do need the space, one 1080p movie is sized between 5gb - 12 gb depends on the length, and about 35% of my collection are full HD. I am running out of space as we speak. Having said that, with just a bit over 6T, I don't even have redundancy (raid), which is a big risk.

I keep most of everything I download. And most of my space is occupied with HD content. For example I have about 200 HD Movies or about 2TB of hdd space.

250gb internal, 2X1tb wd usb harddrive :D

160GB+40GB internal and 320GB external portable. most of my data is on DVDs, so less HDD space :001_smile:

500gb internal + 1Tb external = 1.5 TB. I feel so small. :(
