Plasma all the way for me. I used to have an LCD and recently swapped. The plasma is so much clearer, for the computer aswell.

Both are good. Not much to choose between the two.
for movies only Plasme is the better choice
but if you sue it as a PC monitor like me go LCD
Plasma displays colours better and are more responsive. They are much better for watching movies on. Or so i'v heard from my friends who work in Home Theatre.
Surely you mean: How much money do you have?
I prefer plasma TV's because the picture is almost identical if not better than a LCD screen (depends on the brands of course). They are much cheaper than LCD screens aswell. I picked up my 50" plasma for AUD$1700 and am pleased with my decision. The only downside of having a plasma is that if you leave an image still on the screen it will get burnt into the screen. If you plan on hooking up your PC to a screen than I would most definitely go for a LCD.
