Default When do you feel more tense - before the Exam or the Result?

We all feel tense before the exam/interview & the result; nobody can deny that.
But here my question is when do you feel more tense - before the exam or the result ?
Truly speaking, I am more tensed before the exam. The reason behind this is - I think that I can't change my answer sheet which I wrote in the examination hall.So I am more relaxed before the result. But I really feel tense before giving the exam because that thing depends only on what I am going to write.

I'm more tense before the exam. Anticipation, fear, uncertainty.

After the exam, I'm like, "Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh..."

Yea; uncertainty is the main reason behind feeling tense before the exam. After the exam we find that the exam could be better and hope that next time we will surely give a better exam and this continues in every exam.

Definitely before the results. If you go to an exam prepared or not, you will most definitely feel tense. However prepared you are though doesn't justify the results. I could come out of an exam thinking that I sailed through it, and that it was simply peanuts, only to find out I came out average due to careless mistakes and such.

I would have to say I'm not nervous at all. Failure is part of success. Without fail...there is no succeed. It has been a while since I took a test but here's the premise of my answer. Is your decision capable of taking your life. If not, throw caution to the wind and let your brain process the info that you need to for whatever scenario you are in currently and not worry about if your wrong or right.

The human brain has a habit of being curious mostly I think because humans have a need to know...as we have a genetic predisposition to fear what we do not understand. And that's the point of a test to see if you understand now. Just relax you'll think clearer.

I only babbled because I can't vote as my answer wasn't in the poll.
    (not nervous at all)

Very good question though I like thinking

Definitely before the exam, since at my age (eighteen) I'd in nine out of ten cases know how good I did. Results are almost never a surprise for me.

If I'm not sure about something / didn't study hard enough, it's an almost guarantee I'll get it wrong because I'm terrible at guesswork.

If I studied, I wouldn't feel all that tense and vice versa. If I know I did bad, I'd feel really shameful after taking it and even more so when I get results back. Even if it didn't matter all that much, I'd be letting down teachers and family anywho.
I'll try to be active every now and then, but no promises -- drop me a PM if you need anything and I'll respond within a week.
EDIT: Scratch that, within a month.

The only time I get nervous is when I have to take the eye exam test as part of my driver license renewal every 4 years. I'm always afraid I'll flunk it and then my old mother will be stuck having to drag me around.
Born of mortal flesh and blood, she has toiled with understanding cyphers at times so oblique as to defy all understanding, drawing the attention of those so hidden in the shadows that their substance is not even the stuff of legends. Her work, both revered and reviled, continues to this day, as The Exalted.

Before the exam. You can't change what you got after the exam(or the result), so whats the point of worrying then?
