Microsoft has announced the prices of his new Office 2010. Both prices off the Retail and OEM versions have been published. This way the company also confirms the existence of an Office 2010 professional Academic, who can only be provided by certain academic institutions and which costs only 99 dollars. The 'home and Student'-version costs 149 dollars but has no Outlook included. The 'Home and Business'-version will be costing 279 dollars, whereas the Professional edition will be up to 499 dollars. Microsoft will also sell loose product-keys, with whom retailers can activate office 2010 OEM versions. These will cost less; the 'home and Student'-version will cost 119 dollars, 'home and business' will cost 199 dollars and a proffesional productkey around 349 dollars. The retailers will not get a dvd and the package can be installed on only one system. The prices for Office 2010 Standard and Professional Plus aren't published because they will be exclusively distributed by means of volume licensing. Also Office starter 2010 hasn't been annaunced; this adware-versie only contain Word and Excel and will be provided exclusively to pre-installed pc' s. I know what I will be downloading anytime soon.
