The thing is really expensive, but we can't deny the quality of the product. They didn't change the default file type in this version, did they (like they did with the .docx thing)? Well, at least it won't force anybody who doesn't wan't/can't afford it to use it. I'm using office 2010 beta and I'm pretty happy with it, but it ain't that different from the 2007 vers.
I too am trying out the beta, and I feel like Microsoft didn't put enough effort in office 10 to charge this much money for the software.
The prices are usual a bit high.
