Mine is not very impressive looking, it is just a 32" 1080P TV on my desk (I use it as a monitor). When its time to watch TV/Movies I use SageTV Media Center on the PC. I have most of my movies ripped and Sage keeps all the TV and Movies very organized, displays fanart, records local HD, etc. It is very similar to Windows Media Center except super customizable because of all the user created add-ons. I need to pick up a decent receiver and surround speakers.

I'll try and get a pic later but I have to go to drop someone at the airport pretty soon.

I'm still building mine. So far I've only got the TV which was bought 2 weeks ago. It's a lovely 42-inch xCanvas Full HD. I'm planning to buy a home theater PC as well as a home theater system. For the HTPC, my friend will assemble one for me which would include an ASUS motherboard (cheaper than most brands) and a Blu-ray player. The home theater system ... I don't have enough money yet. So I haven't thought of what model to buy. Any suggestions? I'll inclined to buy a wireless one because it's fuss-free.

Sage isn't free, and really by itself isn't very good. The user made customizations is what makes it good. I've never used any of the alternatives so I don't know how they compare, but there are always people on the SageTV forums who are converts from Windows MC, BeyondTV, and other apps.
