    Hi,

    Ive been using TL for a while now and im pretty content with stuff available there. Now what i wanted to know is that GFT is also a 0day tracker but when compared with TL, how does it rank, is it better or more or less the same. Yes keep aside the fact that its ratioless. Talk in terms of content.

    GFT will get scene releases a little quicker than TL will. However, TL allows all content to be uploaded, not just scene. So, if you have TL, you don't really need GFT, unless you need scene releases one minute or so before they appear at TL.

    The content is pretty much the same. GFT may get some spam scene releases that TL doesn't get (like maybe a few apps and ebooks), but even then, the amount of spam scene releases that don't make its way to TL is insignificant.

    In terms of pre times, GFT has by far the most # of wins (at least according to the pre-chan that I follow). TL is a distant 6th.

    TL = Content
    GFT = Pre's

    I really prefer TL, no doubt. ;)

    C.R.9 summed it up well. I have both. I usually download from from TL but, If GFT has scene rls's there I'll get them there because there is no worry about a 1.1 ratio just 48hr seedback time.

    GFT being ratioless is a plus. As mentioned numerous times in earlier posts, GFT has better pretimes than TL. In fact, it's comparable to SCC either tying it or quicker in some instances. A faster pretime of even 60 seconds quicker does you a world of good so don't overlook it. With this, you could easily cross-seed files over to TL - or any other trackers you frequent - and significantly boost your ratios there. I usually download all my content from GFT and seed them to all other trackers I use. The only real downside to GFT is its overall peer-base. Torrents doesn't stay active for very long and you don't gain much upload statistics from many of them. My point is, if you could get into both or use both, why not?

    GFT has an awesome community, also is ratio free and ofc has got great pre-times beating SCC a lot of times.

    TL, is TL, my favourite tracker, great speeds, a lot of content, p2p and scene too, not as much spam as in GFT.

    Both are cool, but TL is the preferred by me, is where I download most of my stuff, GFT is my second choice. :)
    Yeah, I'm the one and only McLovin from Superbad and the one and only Red Mist from Kick Ass

    A big thanks to all from T-I, special thanks for some users lalala

    From my exp and my needs, I have to say TL is better hands down. TL has a lot more content and users and because of that, it's easy to seed back and the speeds are quick. I agree with el2em on every point. TL has got to be in the top 5 trackers i use and love and feel very fortunate that i received an invite from here every time i think about it. It's great.

    Tl allows p2p content whereas GFT doesn't, this is a big one for me. Though the recent discussions of infiltration by the authorities does lead me to use the tracker less these-days.

    Gft- ratio free and amazing pre times but suffers from low retention rates for torrents.
