A few days ago Google added a "fade in" effect to its homepage links, this means it now takes an extra few seconds to get to Google News, Maps, Images and more. I find it extremely annoying.
Luckily, somebody hacked it back.
If you hate it as much as I do, here's a two step process to fix it.
First, install the Greasemonkey add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748
Second, install this script: Disable Google Fade-in for Greasemonkey
But, I'm interested in why you think it's an awesome innovation (the interface is more simple now) or a terrible idea.
