Our Christmas is a little messed up this year because my spouse will be working a night shift over the two night of Christmas. So we moved everything up a day and told our kids (2 & 4) that they were so good that Santa is coming a day early.

So it's 2:30 a.m. right now and I recently finished putting all their gifts under the tree, loaded up stockings and partially consumed the cookies and milk they left out for Santa.

I've always enjoyed Christmas, but even more so since having kids. I know the 4 year old will be jumping on our bed by 6:00 a.m. and I will have only had a few hours of sleep....but he'll be so excited that I won't even care (though I'm hoping he'll wait long enough for the coffee to brew).

Anyways - so tonight (or rather...it would technically be last night given the time of this posting) is Christmas Eve for my family, so with this in mind - Merry Christmas!
