Is there anything better?!... No!
well christmas traditions for me have changed because I lived and celebrated Christmas with my family for many years until I moved a couple thousand of miles away from them. Years ago we would go to midnight mass at our church and watch my niece's and nephews be a part of the service such as altar servers and reading the readings, or choir in front of everyone. (watching my nephew trip over his alter boy suit in front of everyone). That night we would have tamales for christmas eve dinner and we would always cheat and open a few presents before midnight mass.
Christmas Day we would all get together and open more presents and eat more yummy yummy Mexican Food.
Now my christmas is with my hubby's family in Missouri which also consists of yummy yummy food. You get ham or turkey for dinner on christmas eve and christmas Day. The kids open the presents on Christmas Day and you get to sometimes have a White christmas. back in california I would NEVER have dreamed of a white christmas.
Tamales
Arroz con Leche (Rice pudding with cinnamon)
Mexican Champurrado (Like Hot Chocolate)
Bunuelos (Sweet Fried Tortilla)

I might as well post it up a little bit :P
Ah Christmas, what a wonderful time of year. This year will be the same as all the rest wake up early open presents wait for family to come over to exchange gifts and eat way to much food (BTW Pigs In Blankets, fine choice sir :P) get rather tipsy go to bed and have the infamous turkey sandwhiches for days to come :)
Seeing as no one seems to want to post any pics of their decorations, tomorrow (In the daylight hours :P) I'll take a few pics off ours and get them on for you. Apparently this year Gothic Christmas trees are fashionable? So our tree is black. Fail I know, but what you gonna do :P
Anyways peace out dude. (Good luck with the thread :D)
Thanks LiquidFusi0n!
Ah SCavenJA! pigs in blankets are the best! It's one of the main reasons i enjoy Christmas. My aunt cooks loads thinking they'll go quickly. Once there cooked she forgets that most of my family are vegies, so i get loads. She does the same thing every year
