I started out with Bit-torrent, but then switched over to Utorrent. I'm still not exactly sure why, but everyone else was so I decided to be a follower. Yeah for not knowing.

I'm using Transmission, and have used it for the past 5 years. For me it's the simplest and most effective client out there. Love it!

Transmission is just a simple client without all the bells and whistles of ones like Vuze. Also, it's compatible with every tracker I use, and is one of the few I can use with Ubuntu. If you do a google search you'll find plenty of info on it. Cheers

I used Transmission for a long time on my freenas. In combination with Transmission Remote GUI it's really a great client.

uTorrent here. Got skeptical after they were bought out by BitTorrent Inc, but so far there's been no issues.

µTorrent all the way. Most lightweight of them all. Thought Vuze was too much really..
