The two best are uTorrent and Vuze. From my past experiences, Vuze can fetch more seeds.
I use uTorrent. It is fast, easy, effective and doesn't use much CPU power. Love it.

like just about every one else here utorrent is a great way to go for me,its cpu and memory draw is very low, i can run it a full 1.5mbs up and down and play something like fallout 3 at max settings 1920x1080 ... and my computer is 3 years old now. every tracker i know of accepts it if not its one of 2 or 3 that they will accept. utorrent is win and if there is something better out there i dont want to know about it.
I use utorrent, compact, fast and gets the job done.

Vuze for RSS feed torrents, and uTorrent for rest.
utorrent hands down. if you find a better client tell me =]
