Thread: Google Chrome OS is OUT

As most of us know that Google has been working on some secret OS, well that is not much of a secret now. Google's OS is Finally OUT. The operating system feels much like a Chrome browser, this means we don't have the typical Windows GUI. Its a browser which leads us to watch videos, view pdfs, play Games, listen music, do shopping all in one window. Basically, the OS is for netbooks but thats not gonna stop people for trying it. According to Google, the final release of the product will be after an year.

I love Google products. I'm using Chrome (browser) right now, and I hate when I have to switch to IE8. :( If Google puts as much thought and care in to Chrome OS as they did with their browser, then I'm ready to jump on board.

ok apparently it doesnt work with windows virtual machine built into windows 7 instead download virtualbox @ .org

I am a fan of google chrome web browser, however, I think I'm going to wait to hear some feedback on it first as I don't like to be the first to jump onboard a new OS. If it's as good as google chrome web browser then I will probably end up giving it a go.

myfm, how did you like the overall experience though (looks, ease of access, speed). Can you write something like what platform did you use, how much time it took, basically a review kinda thing.
