I was the biggest FF fan you would of ever seen... until now.

I used FF on all my OSs & I believed it was the best browser.

But I have found a new one. Well it isn't actually new.

Built by Mozilla & Netscape, SeaMonkey is my new net browser. FF has been uninstalled from all my PCs.

So why did I replace FF with SeaMonkey?

Faster - It loads pages a lot faster than FF & Chrome.

Less Crap - No fancy glowing green buttons like FF. No curved URL bars or anything.

Clean UI - Only URL bar & toolbar can is shown. The menu bar can be hidden.

Useful stuff - IRC, Email & address book can all be OPTIONALLY installed with it. They integrate very well.

Security - Can block script, images, cookies. With NO addons needed. Why use Noscript when SeaMonkey has it integrated?

Solid download manager - Better than IDM from what I have seen. Less cut outs than any other download manager I have seen.

Nothing automated - FF used to reload pages without asking & other annoying things. SeaMonkey doesn't do this.

That's it really. I have just migrated from my favorite browser to a browser I had never heard of. And I am loving it. You guys should give SeaMonkey a shot aswell. It's available for Windows & Linux. Might be for OSX, but I didn't check.

Meh, I don't like how seamonkey looks and for me it loaded pages slower than firefox.

Probably because FF already had pages cached.

I'm lazy and too locked in to Firefox to switch even for improved performance.
    It's kind of sad.

Thats cause FF and Chrome cache your pages and you have been surfing around the net with those 2 browsers
