Default World of Warcraft (and Quitters!)

Seeming as WoW is the most popular MMORPG today, I just was wondering how many people here are playing or have quit from the game...

I myself quit about 18 months ago... long story cut short, I live in Australia, I joined up while with work in Europe and ended up buying the european version of the game, meaning when i got back to Australia, i had to get up at 2am to do Raids and what not... so i ended up quitting the game (70 holy pally, 70 shadowpriest, 54 hunter)... a few months later i saw my sister playing and got back into the game, with the US version and ended up leveling a 70 lock... where i eventually got bored of the continual grinds and such, and quit the game permanently... Only played WOTLK for a couple of hours, when a mate of mine left his computer at work and asked me to level his character...

Anyways, enough about me, whats your story?

I started playing it in closed beta and continued playing it through the first four months it was live. I quit because it just got boring, plus the raiding sucked, was too repetitive without enough diverse high end content.

Her work, both revered and reviled, continues to this day, as The Exalted.

Had to quit as it was interfering with school and sleep. I still nostalgia..

I had a 70 holy priest when not pvp, shadow in pvp. I liked it, but it's been 3 years. I'll probably never go back do to high (possibly subjective) play-time demand.

I quit when they started catering to the noobs letting everyone buy high end gear from vendors. By the time wrath hit the game was complete garbage.

i have played some mmorpgs but not wow
i dont like the graphics , the endless pve , the lack of pvp, and that there is a lot of kids playing that game (and i mean 10-13 years old ones xD)

Played WoW for 5 years from release date, but i did quit recently after it was taking over my life. Thanks god i got married and my wife kicked my ass. Since i had to choose between her or the game. She gave me a chance to quit my self or control the hours of play for 2 years, but i failed

Before graduating from the university, i had the guts to quit and move on in life. Did not play for about 10 months now and i feel that i never even played the game.

It was great but that's in the past, now i got more responsibilities in life, i want to have a successful career and a happy family.

I play occasionally for like a month solid but then get bored, do it about once a year.
