Scent of a woman and I think he was marvelous in Devil's Advocate
i think scarface was my favorite , great acting,
dont see much movies like that anymore.
The Heat (with de Niro). Do you remember Al Pacino dialogue with his wife's lover: you can sleep in my bed, crap in my toilet, fuck my wife, but don't you ever, I mean - EVER think of watching my f***ing TV-set!!
Incredible!
You really can't go wrong with any of the selections. Godfather series, Scarface, Serpico, and Scent of a Woman would definitely be the ones most highlighted by film critics.
I'm not sure anyone mentioned it because I only read a couple of pages on the thread, but I really liked him in "Frankie & Johnny". It showed him as a regular guy, getting out of prison because of one mistake and trying to get back on his feet and falling in love with a waitress. Romantic comedy I know, but it's not cheesy at all, it doesn't compare to Hugh Grant/Sandra Bullock/Jennifer Aniston roles.
My #2 would be scent of a woman.
