Hi all,
Since I discovered torrents for almost 5-6 years agon I've been absent from DC hubs. But a few days ago I came across a nice ebook/audiobook hub that got me to rediscover DC (++). Do you use DC or have you abandoned it for good?
Hi all,

I know the guy, through a mutual friend, who ran my countries biggest DC hub. It was really popular back in the day when a lot of people were on plans that allowed unlimited national caps. I'm pretty sure it went down a couple of years back though and not so many people use it any more.
I run a DC hub in my apartment though, were a number of us can connect and share our stuff from anywhere within the apartment building.
Used to use a lot of DC++, IRC, soulseek, and there's another older one i can't remember anymore...firedog? reddog? I can't remember.....but not so much anymore, I like the torrent community.
Yeah DC++.. I remember how I couldn't get into many of the good hubs because I didn't have enough GB shared and especially remember how people do share a ton but they hide their files in multiple folders/subfolders which was a pain. I later switched over to usenet (newsgroup) which I bought for like 10 bucks and it still has all you can get from torrent these days. I also tried eDonkey for a little while but that didn't go so well. I still use IRC fairly often. Especially for anime and the like.
Ther're some really nice hubs out there. A great complement to torrents.
Nope, but may be worth a try
