Thread: Hubble Wallpapers

I am so fascinated by space and the universe. Several months ago I was looking at the official website for the Hubble Telescope, and I found that you can download a lot of great Hubble pictures for wallpaper there. They also have several pictures that you can print and hang together to make a wall mural. It's a great site!

Here are a few of my favorite wallpapers, but there are many more:

These pictures are absolutely amazing! It blows my mind to think about how massive the universe is.

I study astrophysics as part of my degree. I can tell you that it gets a lot less interesting the further in you go. Keep to the overview level. :)

I took an astronomy class when I was in college back in the 80's at Old Dominion University. The class was held in planetarium. At the end of each class, the instructor would turn off the lights and put the night sky on the ceiling for us to enjoy. He would always point out something special that was going to happen that week in the sky so we could look for it. It was just an intro class, but it was one of the best classes I ever took.

That Sombrero Galaxy just looks so cool to me. I keep looking at it.

I too am a lover of space.
I think you should all check out Hubble Heritage, they have LOTS of cool pictures.
