Thanks for the link to HubbleHeritage. I didn't know about that one, but I'm going to bookmark it now. They have a lot of great shots.
Here's a cool one of Hoag's Object, which is actually a ring galaxy with over 8 billion stars:
And here's one of Jupiter with a clear view of her aurorae on each of her poles. I want to find a wallpaper size version of this one.
This stuff absolutely fascinates me. I think I like the pictures of galaxies and planets the most. BTW, if you like classical music you can crank up "The Planets" by Gustav Holst while you look at the pics (that's the geek in me). :001_tongue:
