Thread: Halloween is Here Do you Belive in Ghosts and Why?

I definitely believe that their are other entities that exist on the same plain as us but in different dimensions. I believe that these can be spirits of the dead as well as other beings and I believe that most, "ghost" stories are actually stories of encounters with these entities. There are too many unexplained happenings in this world for their us to be so arrogant as to think that we are the only entities on this plane in which we exist. Again, this is just my opinion

Absolutely not. Our spirits leave this world at death, it would be incredibly sad if we were to linger here.

I DESPISE all those discovery channel 'ghost' shows. It makes me sick to my stomach that the channel that aired Planet Earth is broadcasting such nonsense.

I dont believe in ghosts...

Though I concede that disproving the existence of ghosts is practically impossible, my friends and I used to go to many supposedly haunted locations at night to try to get a glimpse of a ghost or two. We never saw or heard anything! We even visited some of the sites multiple times (particularly the ones that had the greatest reputation for being haunted) and stayed for extended periods... I was truly disappointed. Since, despite my best efforts, I have not been presented with any convincing evidence, I do not believe ghosts exist.

yes i believe. when i was 12 , one morning at hour 6 am i was going to a place alone and out was still dark because was winter. and i saw something in black cloutes , i was scarred and i let my look down ,after that that thing dissapeard. i`am still scarred when i think about that.

No i certainly do not believe in ghosts. I dont think we have a 'soul' that needs to go somewhere when we die. Lots of cells working in tandem keep us alive, and when they stop working, we die, becoming part of the sand.

Man, i've seriously experienced and seen so much stuff! Yes i believe in these things. I think ghost/spirits w/e you want to call them can be good or bad, but yes i believe.

I think I believe in ghosts, but I'm not sure about that.

first of all i want to thank all of those who did answer to this thread i have gotten some interesting answers and just one thing I would like to say to those who do not read as asked it was said to state why and not just one sentence answers. Please do not spam it is not appreciated. again thanks to those who did answer the question.

Oh and to answer my own question I myself do believe in spirits. I was raised though to celebrate the spirit once it has moved on and try not to morn is too much because they are moving on to a better place where there is no pain and suffering. Being full blooded Mexican one of my traditions was the holiday The day of the Dead.

You Celebrate those who have passed on and remember the person they were when they were alive. You go to the cemetary, light candles to help them see on their path to the afterlife, and bring them food, and spend time with them as they are making their journey. Some people call it freaky but this is part of my heritage that I am very proud of. I wanted to share this time with you guys.
