i love FLAC but can't find them anywhere. the trackers i use dont carry them for the most part.
does TT stand for torrentech? I can't seem to find much in the way of FLAC there....
also, is there really no way to play FLAC on an ipod? must it be transcoded to ALAC?

Actually, you can play FLACs on iPods. You need to replace the standard iPod FW with alternative FW like Rockbox or iPod Linux. Both of them can play FLAC. However, some of the newest iPods haven't got alternative FWs yet.
If you use alternative FW, iTunes isn't needed to put music on your iPod. You can just copy & paste the music across.
I prefer FLAC of course but mp3's are so much easier to find and don't cause such a big hit on my downloads for the month :)
