BMW all the way. infact im looking at getting a 1998 BMW 318is M3 for my p's. But it will cost me around 15-20K so gotta save a lot lol

I have a 2003 Bmw 318i and i love it. A true drivers car. (even thou the 318 is gutless) Merc are more luxurious than about driving performance. While mercs are often more powerful a bmw will usually handle and perform much better, especially around a track.

@Ripe, lol, the 318 and the M3 are completely different cars. The 318 is a four cylinder entry level bmw and the m3 is the top of the range high performance v8 model (starts about AU$220,000). The 1998 model m3 was a 6 cylinder though.

I like Mercedes because they're sleeker. I don't really know much about cars though :P I just think that the Mercedes look better.
