Thread: Ratio proofs?

Okay I don't know if there is a thread with this info or not but I thought I would ask anyway! When posting ratio proofs to other people on this site what exactly should be shown to make it look real and not a fake that someone has just copyed from somewhere else. I am new to these sites and am looking for invite to a few other sites and just want to make sure my info looks real when showing proofs! Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Normally, you block out your username, and the last digit from the download, upload and ratio. So if your download was 45.67 gigs, you would block out the 7.

Also, it is good to include a phrase or sentence in the address bar such as "Kermit this is your ratio proof"

Some sites do not like their name being shown in public, so if that is the case with a certain tracker, make sure to block out their website and their name, only leaving their abbreviation such as SCC, or ScL, etc.

Blank out your username and last few digits of up/down stats (so tracker cannot link proof to your T-I activities). Put your T-I username in the search field and you should be good to go.

What drukenbum said is right on the money kermit. Follow that example and you will be ok.

If the invite is really for a big tracker, the inviter will ask you for a profile link after you posted the ratio proof just to make sure the ratio that you have posted is not copied elsewhere.

On some trackers when you click 'Browse' you will see a list of new added torrents, you will also see the name of the torrent, the size of it and peers etc.

But also, the date when it was uploaded (doesn't apply on all sites). This is really important to capture because it's a good way to prove that this screen is new (ofc you'll have to make sure that the current date is correct).

If you can't do this for whatever reason, then write something in the search box, maybe the current date or something..

Then do what 'DrunkenBum' said. It pretty much sums it all up.
Here's a quick recap; Make sure that you capture both the current date + your ratio (which usually is located in the top left).

And last but not least, remember to be a good Pirate and censor the trackers name, this is done for the future of the community.

Kermit your ratio Proof looks great. ^^ Exactly like it should be done. :) That way you can be most sure that the ratio proof isn't faked. You could also include some of the latest torrents on that tracker, but I mostly don't do this.
