Thread: VLC Problems - What Video Player do you use? why?

I used to be a heavy user of VLC to play my movie files.

Lately, it seems, the updates to the new VLC (1.01) are choppy on both my mac and my windows machines.

I've been forced to use the older version of VLC and quicktime to play my movie files.

What does everyone else use, and why?



Also anyone else been steamed with VLC lately ?

Media Player Classic here. You should add the option for that because there's probably just as many or more users who use that player out there.

How do you edit a poll to add more options?

You can click on Edit and then click go advance,
Coming back to the question,yes I use either VLC or media player classic,two of them are all that you need IMO,have almost all the coders pre-installed in them

Where did you get your codecs?

Edit advanced does not (from what i can see) have a poll editing option... :(

for music i use winamp, for movies i use BsPlayer or GOM Player. BSP is for xvids files and gom is for hd. both work great.

i never had problems with vlc player, it works on any format especially high definition that other players doesn't work.

I am using BS Player because it`s very easy and quite simple. I never had any problems with it.

I use VLC and never had a problem with it, play any and everything.
