I can give you a general advice:



Japenese cars (Toyota, Honda, Mazda) and German cars (Audi, VW, BMW) - engines impossible to upgefuck, nice and very reliable, high-quality parts

And remember: "one oughtn't buy a car which name begins with 'F' - Fiats, Fords and French" - no matter how funny that sounds, there's a lot of truth in it. Let's not talk over Ferrari as they're actually rockets.

Let me just give my 2 cents
I work at a rent-a-car, and i can tell you that atm for example Fiat and Skoda are doing very well!!! their quality seems fine and they tend to be very reliable.
On a second hand...Vw is not what they used to be...their quality seems to be dropping and those engines already had better days.

But i agree 100% with you , For me Japanese Cars are the most reliable atm!!





ps- About my first car? it was a '98 Ford Fiesta :)

Well, this is why I didn't mention Mercedes which is just poor right now. But regarding Skoda and VW - Skoda is doing well 'cause it runs on VW parts (VW owns Skoda) :001_tongue: Still. I wouldn't buy it. In case of fiat, not sure which models you mean - 500 and some other expensive one which name I just forgot kick ass, but that's all, I guess. The rest are just "machines designed for driving" and they not really deserve to be called cars ;)

Btw. My first car? The one I ever bought with my own money as a teenager? Black Honda Civic IV 91' 100KM. Wrroooooom!
