I live in a village and we have only one provider there and I am glad that we at least that one, there are 3 bandwidth and 3 speed packages to chose:
    1 GB
    10 GB
    Unlimited

    speed (download/upload):
    4 MBps/256kbps
    10 MBps/512kbps
    20 MBps/768kbps

I have unlimited bandwidth and slowest speed package(expensive enough), and because I live in a village with bad connection, my 4 MBps line acts like a 2.5/3 MBps line , and max upload 35 kBps (isn't that fast ), yeah , before I had a seedbox, it was really great to seed but the dl is not that bad, I can make more than 300 GB download per month ,with that speed that's not bad I guess...

unlimited, there used to be an "unofficial" 250 GB cap, but they got rid of that a while back.

been quite lucky, my last ISP had no bandwidth limit either.

I'm limited to 250gb. Which is a lot compared to a lot of ISPs I guess, but its still a limit. I'd run out if it weren't for my dedi. Apparently they only contact/warn you if you are one of the top violators though.

    I have unlimited.

Most months I use between (combined up and down) 200-600GB of traffic.

But even if I only used a bit (as is the case with my cell phone, where I also have unlimited data), I'd still want unlimited.

Nobody likes having to worry accidentally stepping over some imaginary like. And most ISPs that do have limits are not very good at warning you before you go over, because they want you to pay the extra. Some are decent and send you a warning email.

I pay more for the data plan on my phone than I really need to, just because I like to know that if I decide to stream youtube videos to it for a week straight, it's not going to affect my bill.

Sadly mines is capped at 250 gigs. This accounts for up and down traffic combined. Sadface. Sadface indeed.

Eventually I'm sure I'll give in and just get a seedbox. Probably sooner than later.
