Haiku traditionally is supposed to be three lines totalling seventeen syllables - 5 syllables for the first, 7 for the second, 5 for the third line. Modern haiku sometimes breaks these rules, so it's ok if it's not pure in form.
Just write a short poem of no more than four or five lines. It's supposed to be an observation about nature, but write whatever you want.
The only rule is that you've thought of it yourself, and it's not anyone else's work. Be original!

Friendship is
the way a dog sits
watching a kitten
stalk him like prey
BONUS SUPER EXTRA HAPPY HAPPY FUN POEM:
The butterflies search
for home
But the trees
are no longer there
