I did, met my wife online. Till now, i still feel like it was the most important thing I have ever done in my life, been happily married for 4 years now.

I think that the beginning of love is based on luck and chances.
Meeting and getting involved with someone could be successful or could be a fail, but i think the posibility of getting really involved and feel love with your date is highly possible so mostly men and women are potencial lovers.
Relating to the question i'd say that yes, is very possible

I fell in love for 2 girls in my whole life,in internet i mean, but never met them.Once i didn't fell in love with the girl,but me and a friend of mine met this girl in counter strike fortunatly she lived next to us,so we called her out, for our great surprise,she was like...11 years old ,small, childish and ugly, so i don't trust internet anymore,at least without a webcam.
