Thread: What kind of job do you have?

IT Field Technician, just got laid off though.. Plenty of computer jobs out there though, so hopefully to be employed again soon.

I design a very popular newspaper - layout design and typesetter

I'm a registered respiratory therapist and specialize in emergency and critical care. What that means is that I'm responsible for the breathing of the most seriously ill and the worst injured patients that present to my hospital. I'm in charge of operating the respirators (what lay folks call "life support systems") and in charge of anything having to do with breathing/the airway during CPR. It's also my responsibility to keep the organs of donor corpses viable until they're harvested which I do by medications and different breathing modalities. I love my job!

Manufacturing job, currently going to college to get out of that dump.

I work as a "Senior Security Specialist" which basically means I'm designing and implementing security solutions for mid-size to enterprise companies/governments. I'm specialized in perimeter security (firewalls, mail gateways, proxy solutions etc)

Technical project manager - kind of like a cross between an architect and a PM.
I love it - having previously worked as a sys admin it's a great place to be.

After a year of searching and having no money I've just been offered two jobs! Took the supermarket one. Less hours but better pay and more prospects. My mate started there as a shelf stacker and is now a manager somewhere down south.

None at the time, I just started searching for a job. Hope I'll get employed as IT Technician or something similar.
