Thread: Fake Ratio Proofs and Fake speedtests Gathered...

I started this thread because I think it would benefit others, myself included, who might not know how to spot a fake ratio proof or fake speedtest. With more people being encouraged to read intros and the consequence of members being banned for inviting them in, a thread with ratio proofs that are fake so others can see would be extremely helpful and could potentially find a scammer before they get into the T-I community.

I personally know that if I had examples to go by of what is potentially fake, it would help me out a lot in what to look for when giving out invites. I saw a post today where somebody caught a fake ratio proof within the community.

I posted in general discussion bc I don't know right place for this thread, move if need be and sorry I don't have any fake ones, I honestly don't know what to look for except maybe one that is completely uncovered.

This isn't a bad post but you have no examples.

One of the best ways is to let peoples stupidity kill them.

I saw one who posted a link where he had "12 gigs download, 4 gigs upload, and 3.0 ratio"

Which (obviously) he did backwards, that would be closer to .33 ratio.

i have no examples bc i personally don't know what to look for. i just made the post so everybody that doesnt know, like me, could get educated

i was just hoping others would contribute to it that have dealt with it already.

Another way to locate a fake ratio is look at speedtest and determine if they're ratios are not accurate based off their join date.
