Thread: Satellite or Cable Television? Which do you have and why?

I had satellite and then that huge rotating receiver on my roof...uh, stopped rotating. So then I purchased a cable TV subscription. And I gotta say, cable TV all the way. It has less stuff of what you hate and more of what you like (in Sydney, Australia anyway).

I'm interested in which system you have, and why you have that system.

Satellite for sure,
I am in Canada, I could pick up US & Europe channels with Sat.

I have cable because in the UK only cable is hacked not satelite.

I steal my cable so.. it's free..

I use cable and im satisfied with it

I have cable and i hate it but at the moment its more practical for me with the package i have.

Internet? anybody? otherwise I would say cable as it is for free (comes with the broadband :) )

I just got DirecTV. It'd be decent if I had all of the channels and the On Demand portion was set up for me.. I think. For now I just miss COmcast :(

I just have an anntanna, and get the rest from hulu r there network provider. I feel comcast is a little price here and i ont want to sign a contract with satelight.
