Thread: Have you noticed the connection between trance-listeners and computer savvies?

As a trancehead myself, I just figured out that the % of computer geeks, gamers, private tracker fans and so on among the trance community is WAY larger than the % in the rock / hip-hop community or whatever.
What do you think is the reason behind this?

There are 3 trance trackers provided here, a few general music but non dedicated to rock or hip hop. Almost everyone here understands computers more than average.

As a gamer I have intermediate knowledge in computers, I discovered Trance when Kazaa was initially released; looked for some simple game exe's (elma, dave) and accidently downloaded this magical form of electronic music.

Can you explain the connection?

Yes I noticed that too... also, I'm on a private BDSM forum and almost everyone has an IT related profession! It's scary, I wonder if it's also the other way around. ;)
