Thread: torrent damage ratio building.

ive joined a few private torrent sites recently bitsoup,torrent damage,demonoid,underground gamer. ive been downloading and uploading on them all and seeding them all as we speak but ive noticed its really slow getting my ratio up on torrent damage,i just wondered if torrent damage was a tough site for ratio building? has anybody else found it difficult to keep a good ratio on torrent damage? ive downloaded a few movies and games on the others and my ratio was back out of the red within a day or so but its taking days to build torrent damages ratio up.i know some sites are harder than others and i know it depends on how popular the torrent is but the movies were all recent releases like transformers 2,watchmen etc with a lot of people downloading them. i guess i know in future to be extra careful there and not to download too much.

I tend to download a file that is common on most of the torrent sites I'm regular at. Download it from the tracker where my ratio is usually high and seed the files across the rest of sites. If not that, I usually find and download the files I need from IRC and seed them later giving me my always + ratio.

I've been a member of torrent-damage for about 2-3 months now, and its not that hard you just need to know what people want to download. Like now a days its all about porno so get to good name pornos fast, and or new movies.

But yea I have 270gb+ up and like 30gb down so it shouldnt be that hard just try to focus on whats good and try to get it fast.

Britishlad, do understand that wolvito has a seedbox. This is essentially a server that will upload/download for you at much larger speeds. Although these are nice, I would not use them for the sites you are on.

Just a few pointers..

Get new torrents (only the ones you know will be popular, you'll get used to this)
Keep torrents going 24/7
Think about a seedbox (Depends on Financial Situation, Age, etc)
Games are a GREAT thing to download if they are the popular ones. (Sims 3 has been out almost a month, I've done 200GB up on that file, on one tracker.)

Although with your home connection it would be much slower, having the same torrent sit there forever and keep uploading at whatever rate is nice.
