Thread: Palm Pre or Iphone 3gS?

I sell cell phones, believe me. Neither one is THAT great. I have a HTC Touch Pro. Love it, but WinMo gets laggy sometimes... and my alarm goes off at the strangest times. Seriously, go to a Sprint and ATT store. Play with the demos for more than ten minutes, you will be bored. The keyboard on the Pre is a joke, and don't get my started with the Iphone...

You sound reasonable. As said before: no device is perfect. I was really into Palm Pre but the closer its release, the more flaws revealed. It's great, but not up to the hype. Still, far much closer to it than iPhone as PRE is an upscale devic. If I were you I wouldn't pick any of them and just wait for WM 6.5 based devices with some Snapdragon or nVidia Tegra CPU (Xmass?). But if you really have to make the choice, pick PRE.. sell it and save some more money 'til the end of the year ;) Then get some HTC or whatever.

depends, if you like apps or not. if you like a good usable PHONE with great usability get a palm pre. if you like gadgets that you barely ever use, get a iphone (i have an iphone currently)

Iphone 3GS for the video and functionality factor = WIN

Both are amazing, but i stay with iPhone

I'll say go for the iPhone, the speed is absolutely amazing and it is the first phone I have not regretted buying.
