Thread: Kazaa? does anyone still use it?

hi its been a few years since i graduated fro kazaa or that is to say
i no longer use that meadium to DL ....
I can say that it was a really novel and powerful source for
many meadiums of shared files , you never knew what would turn up
thar many rare photoes ect plus the usuale p2p stuff ...
i can remeber they censored a certain search phrase and it simpli changed 1 letter that phrase was the 3 letters TMD but befor it was TKM
those little often times blurry avi (movies ) were the first way i had to
obtain bootleg copys then BT came along changed everything . One thing for certain i dont expect to find some of the unusual files that got
onto the search shared folders that k-za had (know what i mean)

haha kazaa is oldschool.
but theres no real nostalgia here.
it's a piece shit program where every search resulted in you downloading crap.

i use soulseek for music and all other crap i get with bt

I tried it for a while way back in the day, but more often then not what ever you dl'd had a virus or trojan. That platform is also easily trackable, just ask the 2million dollar song dl'er

Kazaa is what you use if you enjoy being caught by the feds ;-)

Used it back in the days when there wasn't much of a choise, but since the majority of stuff there was virus I stopped using it :)

Havent used it in a long long time. Used to enjoy finding decent/rare songs on it, but, as others have said, seemed to end up being nothing on it but crap really.

i used napster, morpheus, then kazaa. it was definitely an interesting time and there was totally a degree of novelty involved, but it became abused and flooded with garbage that you had to sift through and who wanted to risk infecting their computer every day?

it brings back memories...! nah, i don't use it anymore, don't know anyone who does neither... but back there, i loved kazaa, it was my first!!!

used it all the time about 6-7 years ago, but since the rise of torrents I don't see need the need of kazaa or similar P2P network, especially since most of it is fake and/or malware-infested.
