I have played the acoustic guitar since I was 8 years old. (17 now) So I have played for 9 years. I think the guitar is like a never-ending quest, no matter how long you have played, there will always be another chord sequence or finger picking style that you can learn. I just lie down, empty my mind and play. I dont think of anything. I just lie down and just explore the fret board.
I play everyday and the tips of my fingers are as hard as steel. when I was learning, I once made them bleed, I looked down and there was blood all over the strings! I was concentrating so much on playing, that I didn't feel the pain.
Idea for a thread, post videos yourself playing the instrument.
That would be cool, to see the musical faces of T-I!
What kind of guitar do you have?
I have Fender Strat Highway One
and Fender CD100 acoustic guitar.
And yeah, the fingers are really hard now and i have blisters sometimes
I play the piano, guitar, percussion and I dabble with the drums and bass. All self taught. I have a pretty good ear so it comes in handy when I want to teach myself a song.
I play my skin flute. I have gotten pretty good at it over the years. Almost a professional. Hehehe. Not many other talents though. I have much respect for all u musicians out there. To much dedication for me.
I thought there was a thread like this already? no?
anyway Ive been playing acoustic/electric guitar/piano/violin
since I was really young, piano/violin since i was 4, and picked up
the other instruments later on. Ive been trained classically
in piano/violin (RCA examinable courses), and the rest I just mess around with.
currently using a fender DG-11E blk acoustic/electric
and so there you have it my life story :|
