I don't vote.
Yes I vote
No, I don't vote
Yes, but I do a garbage vote (Fill in all the circles)
I am not at the legal age to vote yet
I don't vote.
Its important to vote. Ive voted in every election since I was 18.
In Australia voting is compulsory, so I've voted whether I want to or not.
In Australia, if you don't vote you get fined... I hate voting, but I hate rubish govt's even more... so I guess I get to have my say every few years... not that it counts for much... :(
I agree with that - imo, if you don't vote then you have no right to complain about who you get landed with and what they do. Fair enough, it's often more about picking the best out of a bad bunch rather than voting for someone that you actually believe in, but it's still important to do. Having said that, I'm all in favour of having a "none of the above" option on ballot papers. I think that would force politicians to engage with the public more, and actually come up with policies that people would want to vote for, rather than against something else.
