PC: uTorrent - best, light, and even has Tetris!!
Mac: Transmission - Simple and easy. Although they do have uTorrent on mac, not getting the same feel as the pc one.

as a mac user transmission has worked the best for me i tried utorrent but on the mac version you can't create your own torrents
I was using Transmission, but never liked it and ever since they released uTorrent for Mac I've been using that and been quite happy with the way it's been working so far.
