Its pretty and all, but is there really any increased functionality aside from these "jump lists"? (And how useful are they in the first place). I've used 2007 a bit, and wasn't exactly thrilled with anything (except for Times New Roman no longer being the default!). I've always been quite content with Office 2003 (when I'm in windows, of course, normally I just use OpenOffice).

So what do we think, is this really going to be an upgrade?

Looks pretty good to me, although I don't see much improvement from 2007.

You really can't tell how much Office 2007 has improved just by looking at screenshots of the user interface. That said, the interface looks great. It's much more inviting than previous releases'. I'm still curious about its performance, on the other hand.

looks cool, but i dont really think that there is that much more they can do for word, 2007 was such a leap though, the equation editor, bibliography, and referencing are super useful, and the themes are great. I'm not sure that theres anything else I would want.
