I JUST got this one... Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drives - Internal Hard Drives
It works great, good speeds, good seek times. I hit 110MB/s in a stress test :)
This is one of the best userbars I have ever seen:

I actually own a computer peripherals business in Australia. It's still under construction, but since im in my final year of school i decided i wouldnt finish and get it up and running until i wasout of school. Im gunna be getting me a new 1tb or 500GB HDD soon...as i only got like 5GB storage left lolz
I own a Seagate 1.5TB, its the most you can get for your money in my opinion.
Thinking about one of these guys:
Newegg.com - Fantom Drives 1TB USB 2.0 / eSATA Silver GreenDrive External Hard Drive GD1000EU - External Hard Drives
I really don't care that much about speeds as long as it's reasonable. If I purchase a 1 TB drive, it's going to be for dumb storage and uploading torrents off of, not for any type of system critical task. The technology they're using is still too new for me to trust it just yet ;)

i bought a lacie 1tb external recently, it cost about £80, its beautiful
Here is a 1.5 tb for $99. You just have to use the promocode EMCLXMV39
Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda LP ST31500541AS 1.5TB 5900 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives
Seagate has had a bad rep with their 1tb drives, but I own the 1 tb version for about 8 months now and have never had a problem with it.
