Thread: 1 TeraByte HDD for all!

I bougt an external WD Mybook 1TB. Works like a charm :D. Almost full now a week later though...

I am thinking of bying one my self, with all this torrenting activity, it is necessary, and not one, but two !

I have a WD 1TB, isn't the most reliable thing, but it was cheap :)

I bought WD elements 1T a month ago, still working great. But I can hear strange noise sometimes, it go 3 years warranty so I'm not worry. Still hope it will be ok cuz I am using it for torrenting.

ive had a few mybooks, ranging in size from 250 to 1tb.... ive had a couple fail..... but ONLY the case etc... the hdds were fine. took them out and stuck them in a caddy and all is fine..... draw ur own conclusions!

Got my 1TB drive a week ago.

Have everything on it. With around 170GB left I'm already thinking about getting the next one and doing away with my pathetic little >200GB drives

Not the fastest, but that doesn't really matter for file archiving on a file server. I'm going to be picking up two of these in the next month after some more consumer data comes out. If anyone has any experience with this drive let us know.

Yeah i bought a 500 gb one for around 900 kr a couple years ago, still have it.

900 kr is roughly like 110 dollarS?
