i have 2 sega 1TB and 1 sega 1.5 TB hdd
got 1TB samsung - bought it like a year ago for 150
Got 1TB Caviar Black .. but can't feel the difference between Seagate 500GB in the term of speed ..
Well.... If I was allowed to, then MAYBEE... I'd have one half a year ago... -_-'
I got a tb lacie hard drive, but it stopped working like 4 months after I got it. Don't think I eve dropped it or nething either

I have 6x 1.5TB Seagate's connected to an Adaptec 5805 RAID controller in a RAID-6 configuration. Initially I ran into a lot of issues with these drives, and reports are all over the internet about random reading and writing hangs. If you get either the 1.5 or the 1 TB drives, make sure you update your firmware to the latest version. It makes a world of difference.
