Default Which OS(es) do you use?

Whilst searching this section for dupe threads, I couldn't find any enabled "Which OS Do You Use?" threads, so I decided to set one up.

So post which OS you use and *tell us why you use it*.

If you just spam without reasons, I'll just delete the post...

    ----------------------------

I'll start... I've used quite a few OSes, but the ones I am on at the moment are...

    OpenBSD -
A BSD Unix like OS built for security and built in encryption, as well as other things. Available for many platforms. Great for firewalls/routers.
    OpenBSD

    Debian GNU/Linux -
A GNU/Linux OS that's got tons of packages, and good compatibility. It's stable (Well, as far as the Linuxes go.). Great multipurpose OS. Uses a good APT package system, that isn't dependency happy and updates without self destructing COUGH* RPM *COUGH.
Debian -- The Universal Operating System

I also use FreeBSD and Backtrack 3 quite a bit as well.

I use Windows 7 RC at the moment, and i have been using win7 since the pre-beta. I completely love it! It's beautiful, it's fast, it's stable. How could anyone ever use Vista? Beats me..

I have tried to install OSX on my HP laptop though. But I don't really get it to work, and I really don't know why. I've tried iDeneb and other versions of patched OSX, but nothing works. If anyone can help me on that one I would appreciate it. But that's off topic

Windows 7 because it's stable, it plays most games, it's compatibility modes are as advanced as they are probably ever going to get, it's new, it looks nice, it runs on new hardware and not so new hardware... I could go on and on.

Windows 7 RC1 is definitely ready to be a mainstream OS.

I am using Win XP SP3 because its nice, i use it as server/gaming rig/IMing/etc everything on it and it has not failed yet. :)

I have used Vista, and i would say its a big fail. We have to give it like 10000 instructions to delete/open a single file. :D

About Linux, ah, its cool and i want to install Ubuntu again but as my PC [WinXP] is 24/7 seeding on trackers, i am unable to use Ubuntu. Sadly i don't got 2 PCs. :(

My main OS is Vista, I have always been a windows user and always will be.

I have a VM of Ubuntu to write C code in along with ssh'ing into my seedboxes.

I also have a VM of Win7 RC for testing purposes.

Windows XP and Windows 7 RC. I've used Linux plenty of times and love the idea of it, it's just too damn techy for me (and I'm a tech person).

At some point I will use OSX and run away from PC's XD

I just wiped a load of posts that didn't give reasons like I specified in the OP....

So, if any of the deleted post posters want to try again, do; but give reason this time.

    EDIT - Created a poll.
