Default Your favorite bands / artists that disappeared after 1 album

The title is self-explanatory, I think. Music genre doesn't matter.

    Mine would be:

The Union Underground that disbanded after releasing "..An Education In Rebellion" in 2000 - the best nu-metal album I've ever heard (Rob Zombie / White Zombie alike) - while I'm not nu-metal fan at all, in this case each song is a killer to me, while the heaviest "South Texas Deathride" is a fuckin' monster.

Check them out: YouTube - the union underground

Good question! Mine would be Talk Show. It was nice for the remaining members of Stone Temple Pilots to kick out some good tunes with a lead singer who isn't a drug addict and a loser like Scott Weiland.

Another band like this: Capharnaum. Playing technical death metal (like Death, but faster). It was more a side-project for the musicians involved, but it's just amazing. Also Hellyeah - another 1-album supergroup (Mudvayne + Pantera + Crowbar?).. And Damageplan naturally (Darell brother's next band after Pantera split-up) - disappeared after their first amazing album when Dimebag tragically died. All three are different, but true heavy shit. Gimme more..

Blind Faith - Eric Clapton (The Yardbirds, Cream), Ginger Baker (The Graham Bond Organisation, Cream), Steve Winwood (Spencer Davis Group, Traffic) and Ric Grech (Traffic, Family)

Upon its release in 1969, Blind Faith topped Billboard's charts at the No. #1 spot for Pop Album in both the U.S. and the UK, and peaked at #40 on the Black Albums chart – an impressive feat for a British rock quartet.

On June 10, 2009, Winwood and Clapton began a 14-date US summer tour at the Izod Center in New Jersey. You can bet that "Can't Find My Way Home" and "Presence of the Lord," two of the most popular songs from the Blind Faith album, will draw huge applause from still rabid but now elderly fans, almost 40 years after their original release.

So this is for albums only, no other release - ie EP, MaxiSingles, or Singles don't count?... if they do, there is a long list... Including this live (and licensed) record...

Sex Pistols - Original Pistols Live (12", EP, Pic) at Discogs

Check the name of the LAST song LOL 'Dolls (New York)' I would love to hear that bit of 'artistic licence'!

Also there was a Jap' release The 'Ex Pistols with a full vinyl disk of stuff recorded pre-NMTB ...
"recorded Oct '76 at Wessex Studios "
