    Default Programming languages?

Does anybody here know any programming languages, or visual basics, etc.

I've been trying to learn C++,C,VB6,and MySQL...It's hard to focus on though >_<, not exactly the most exciting thing if you catch my drifts :P.

It's not a programming language as much as scripting but I've been working with AutoIt lately. if you go to autoitscript.com theres a free download as well is a full forum.

i'd recommend java for starters - it seemed to me as a very easy and understandable language...

I started with c/perl, moved onto c++ and then was forced to use Java at university.
These days I mostly write scripts and absolute love bash, python and perl.

If you want something a little bit different, try a functional language like Haskell or Lua. They were a lot of fun. Ruby is good too.

My Friend learned lua...He said it's pretty cool too (Especially with his WoW server development)...

I'm gonna try Python, people say it's easier to learn than most other language.

I can recommend the O'reilly python books if you want to learn python.
Also the python tutorial: Front Matter

Just fire up a python interpreter and start coding :)

Can you recommend any programming language if you want to learn something but don't care if it's hard or easy? Since you know you can learn it both. I have been looking for something too, I have seen about python & perl, but some how when I look at it it seem to look to easy, and not a efficient language. ( Not that you should care much about that in the beginning. )

Hope you get what I mean. ^^
