I connect an HDMI cable from my laptop to my 55" flat screen TV, and watch it on that, in its native format.

I usually just watch them on my pc monitor, or my tv; mostly mkv's
I use to always convert avi to dvd and burn and watch them on my 32" but after running into movins like "Crank High Voltage" I now watch them on my computer and if its a good enough movie to watch again I convert it and burn to dvd. :)
