    Default AMD or Intel?

    I will most likely building a new PC soon so I just wanted to people's opinions as far as CPU brands go.

    i prefer intel CPU's because is more stable than AMD

    Never used AMD but also love and never had problems with Intel so yeah.

    ive got amd but never had any problem but heard that intel is the better op

    intel outperforms amd on every comparison.
    only people that would get an amd now a days are amd fan boys

    Never had an AMD, and I don't think I ever will, lol

    I think it depends on what for price class you are looking at. ^^ If you want to go for the high segment I thought Intel surely was the best. ^^
    And thought AMD ruled in the lower price segment since they have way better value for money rating. ^^

    That depends on what you want to use the computer for.
    I've got both Intel and AMD. I use AMD for 3D work and Intel for day to day computing.What do you plan on using it for ?

    I totaly agree on this with Elonoir (and am turned on :P) ,girl knows her processors :) .
    Before core2duo got out i allways used and recomended to all my customers AMD (lower and higher segment) ,but now the story is totaly different. Intell c2d really blows away the athlons.
    If you think celeron, then stop right away.Go straight to Athlon in the same price range.
