Thread: Rock Vs Rap

I choose rock,because I hate rap.

Rock for me

yes i rather go with rock although its not my favorite.

I prefer Rock, I just like the sounds and songs.

Rap is the best there is nothing special in rock anyway they are just of mad people scream aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaa

Even the harshest stereotypes about rock won't be nearly as insulting as those about rap, so how about we don't take this thread down that road...


As for me I've always favored and will always favor rock and several branching genres with roots in rock. It's not like I hate rap or that I'm judging the whole genre based on the negative stereotypes that crappy radio DJs are focusing on these days. I have heard some rappers which are more like poets, and the music backing them is more like an emphasis on their words than something to get busy to. But it takes a lot more to win me over than a powerful message.

If not for eminem and local rapper in my country, I would have chosen rap all the way. But right now, I'm in between the two but slightly leaning towards the rap side. I don't have any particular rock band that I like at the moment but before there was Fall Out Boy. Man I loved that band. Wish they could come back together again.

Meh, I don't really like the both of them, but If I had to choose one I'd choose rock, because the majority of rap (now) sounds all the same :( (though there are a few good rappers)
