    Default Google Chrome

Unfortunately it's only out for windows at the moment. I downloaded and played with it for a while on my flatmate's WinXP box. I have to say I'm quite impressed, but doubt that it is enough to sway me from Mozilla Firefox 3.

I love the fact that each tab runs in its own process meaning if one tab crashes, the browser is still completely usable. Find out more in the following links:

Google Chrome - Download a new browser

This comic will give you an excellent overview of the features:

Google Chrome - Google Book Search

I just can't wait until the linux version comes out :001_smile:

Its just meh for me. It feels really fresh and whatnot but Firefox still has the most functionality. The one thing I did love about Chrome though, is just how lightweight it feels and that in most cases was the fastest browser I have ever used. I don't really like the tab-to-process thing myself... really makes it a memory hog on some pages.

Do any of you guys get nervous about the fineprint?

Interesting. I definitely usually ignore the fineprint if it's from someone I'd generally trust like google.

I don't think I like number 2 on that list of things.

I don't like part 2 of that list either. Still think I will download it and try it out, But I don't like and probably won't ever be going to use it as my primary browser because of that. Will wait till some of the advantages will flow on in other projects or even a fork of the browser itself without those 'rules'. I don't like number 2 at all.

Thanks for posting it here, I usually don't read the user agreements ever. Since they mostly all tell the same. [ And I think aren't lawful by the Dutch law if it isn't presented before you acquire the product. ]

Okay, so you get them presented and you have to agree before you actually download chrome itself. >.< To bad. =p Will not use it as main browser ever than. =)

I really like the automatic update rule thing. Most of the time, even if it's on the user agreement, they don't really care to much about what you do using the program. I'm using Chrome right now and it's amazing. I can load any page instantly.

It's lightweight, quick and has some interesting features but it certainly isn't Firefox...
