    Default Rep in the real world?

    While I was having lunch, I was just thinking: what if, hypothetically, there would be a Rep System in the real world. This forum having been my first encounter, ever, with it. What would such a system imply? What kind of technology would it require. What would be the advantages and disadvantages of such a system. What would people act like? I was quite puzzled by some of the conclusions I had reached.

    So I ask you this. What do you think of a Rep System in the real world. Pro's and Con's if you may...

    I fear that with a system like that people wouldn't get to know eachother anymore in a normal way. I think the rep thingy would get stuck in people's heads.

    I mean... what if you had to rep people in real life, anytime they did something to you, or to someone that you knew. Or rep'ing someone for something he said, or did...

    I wonder if the "rep thingy" hasn't got stuck in some people's heads already...

    pretty weird idea lol, giving rep system to any human being would increase inferior complexity among others, one being superior to other. Imo in this land of Homo Sapeins we survive on the basis of karma towards our family, friends colleagues and the country. Definitaley one who serves for country would have higher rep rather than a person who has devoted his life saving others.

    a rep system in the real world....... people wont get to know each other well. there will be different classes( good if its a online community or something but disaster in the real world. it would cause an increase in inferior complex of some people.
